Wyatt — June 2024

Wyatt had a good month in June. His spring travel baseball team played for its league championship early in the month. Shortly after that, the summer travel season began. Wyatt played with two travel teams for the summer season. One of those teams went to tournaments on Long Island and in Oswego, New York in June. The long spring modified hockey season wrapped up in June. Fox Lane had another good season but did not make it to the playoff finals. Beyond sports, the school year came to an end. Near the end of the school year, the seventh grade band had its spring concert. Finally, summer vacation began.

Evan — June 2024

The month of June was very active for Evan. He participated in several camps and scrimmages with the Fox Lane varsity football team. The summer baseball travel season began with the EA Baseball 15U team. Evan started his first paid job, working as a lifeguard for the Town of Bedford pools. Finally, Evan completed his first year at Fox Lane High School with excellent grades in all his classes. Summer vacation began.

Evan — May 2024

Evan had a good May. The Fox Lane High School baseball season came to a close. The junior varsity team finished the season with a 15-3 record. The freshman team had a record of 7-4. Evan contributed to both teams. Also in May, Evan spent time with friends and family and won the Engineering Student of the Year award at the annual Fox Lane High School awards ceremony. He also found time for some golf.

Wyatt — May 2024

May was another busy month for Wyatt. The Fox Lane modified baseball team finished its season. The team was challenged by having a large roster but still won nearly half its games. Wyatt was at or near the top of several statistical hitting categories. The EA Baseball 13U travel team played some league games and in a tournament. The modified spring hockey season continued, with Fox Lane having another good season.

Away from sports, Wyatt attended a friend’s bar mitzvah and helped Mom and Nonna celebrate Mother’s Day.

Wyatt — April 2024

April was a busy month for Wyatt. He skied on April 1, skiing in April for the second year in a row. As the month went on, he went to Bedford Bears hockey tryouts for the 2024-2025 season and continued playing with the Fox Lane modified hockey spring league team. The Fox Lane modified baseball team started playing games, and Wyatt also played a bit with the EA Baseball 13U travel team. Wyatt, Evan and Dad also helped Mom celebrate her birthday in April.

Evan stayed busy in April. The month began with the final ski trip of the season, a day trip to Stratton Mountain in southern Vermont. Evan spent most of the rest of the month playing baseball for the Fox Lane freshman and junior varsity teams. Off the field, he spent time with family and friends, watched a solar eclipse, and helped Mom celebrate her birthday.

Evan — March 2024

Evan got busier in March. The month began with the final Fox Lane Ski Club trip of the season. The club went to Mount Snow in Vermont. The month ended with the start of the Fox Lane Baseball freshman baseball team season. In between, there was a dodge ball tournament, a baseball banquet, and a month of baseball practices. At the very end of the month, Evan enjoyed a nice Easter dinner with some members of his extended family.

Wyatt — March 2024

March was a transitional month for Wyatt. The winter hockey seasons ended. The baseball and spring hockey seasons began. Wyatt worked hard getting ready for baseball. Indoor baseball workouts transitioned to outdoor baseball practices. Off the fields and ice, Wyatt attended some sports banquets and enjoyed Easter with family.

Wyatt — February 2024

Wyatt became a teenager on February 22. Happy Birthday, Wyatt! He had a good month. Highlights of the month were a hockey tournament in the Philadelphia area and a ski trip to Vermont. Wyatt and family stayed in the Killington, Vermont area and took a day trip up to Stowe. Though winter conditions were below-average in New York, there was a lot of snow in northern Vermont, and the coverage was excellent at Stowe.

Also in February, Wyatt joined some school friends on a trip with the ski club. The Fox Lane hockey season wound down in February as well. The season was an improvement over previous years, and the coaches are optimistic about the future of the program.

Evan — February 2024

Evan’s quiet winter continued in February. There were more ski trips with the Fox Lane Ski Club, winter workouts with EA Baseball, and exercise sessions at a health club. During the February school break, Evan went to Vermont with friends and then met up with the family in Killington to help Wyatt celebrate his birthday.
