Evan is 71 months (five years and eleven months) old. The big events last month were Halloween and a visit from Grandma from Wisconsin. Evan dressed up as Captain America several times, first at a costume parade in Katonah and then for three events in Bedford Hills on Halloween. Last month also saw the end of AA baseball and Bedford Youth Soccer for the fall season. Last week the boys did their first Christmas season activity and had a visit with Santa.

Wyatt is 45 months (three years and nine months) old. Wyatt has settled in and is enjoying his second year of preschool. The highlight of last month was Halloween. The boys dressed up several times. Grandma also came from Wisconsin for a visit last month, and Wyatt had fun spending time with her. And last month the Soccer Squirts program ended for the season. By the last class, Wyatt was really getting into it after some earlier reluctance.

Evan is 70 months (five years and ten months) old. Evan has been enjoying school very much, especially physical education every other day and library on Tuesdays. He has fun twice a week each at baseball and soccer. Over the long Rosh Hashanah weekend, Evan went with Mom and Wyatt to the beach house in Sag Harbor. Other recreational activities last month included pumpkin picking, pumpkin carving, and walking through two different corn mazes.

Wyatt is 44 months (three years and eight months) old. Last month included school four days a week, a trip to Sag Harbor on Long Island during a school break, and various autumnal activities including pumpkin picking and carving and a couple of corn mazes.

Evan is 69 months (five years and nine months) old. The most significant event in the last month was that Evan started kindergarten at Bedford Hills Elementary. In addition to the excitement of a new school, Evan also started riding the bus. Before school started, the family took a summer vacation to Point Pleasant Beach on the New Jersey Shore. Those pictures were in an earlier post. On Labor Day, everyone went to a corn festival and helped Dad celebrate an early birthday. In the first weeks of September, Evan started a new season of Bedford Youth Soccer and Bedford Hills Katonah Little League. Evan is now playing in ‘AA’ baseball, which includes playing with kids up to 8 years old and hitting off a pitching machine. Very recently, Evan took his very first field trip, to Stuart’s Fruit Farm, where Evan and his classmates picked apples.

Wyatt is 43 months (three years and seven months) old. Last month Wyatt and the rest of the family took a summer vacation to Point Pleasant Beach on the New Jersey Shore. Those pictures were in an earlier post. After that was Labor Day. The family went to a corn harvest festival and helped Dad celebrate his birthday a little early. The new school year started the following week at Katonah Playcare.

Everyone took a short vacation to Point Pleasant Beach on the New Jersey Shore at the end of August. Several friends came to visit, and everyone enjoyed the sun, surf, boardwalk, rides, aquarium, and a water park.

Evan is 68 months (five years and eight months) old. Evan has completed all his summer activities. After Tiny Tots day camp and Little Dolphins swimming lessons, Evan joined two weeks of day camps given by the U.S. Sports Institute: First Play Soccer and Total Play Multi Sports. Also this month, Evan got to see the Wild Kratts in person, and he took a trip to Nonna and Granddad’s apartment in Manhattan.

Wyatt is 3-1/2 years (42 months) old. His summer day camps at at Katonah Playcare and American Gymnastics have ended. He enjoyed playing with trucks at American Gymnastics and making art projects at Katonah Playcare. Other activities this month included a trip to the Bronx Zoo to see a live Wild Kratts show and a trip to Manhattan to visit Nonna and Granddad.

Evan is 67 months (five years and seven months) old. Evan had a month of summer fun. He started his second summer of Tony Tots day camp and Little Dolphins swimming lessons. He also started his first tennis lessons. He took another trip to Manhattan, and he went to Sag Harbor on Long Island the week before camp started.
