In the middle of August of 2015 everyone took a trip to southern Wisconsin. All had a very nice week with Grandma and Grandpa as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. Each day was action-packed. Highlights included a trip to the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis, a visit to a campground with a large aquatic area, a trip to the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, and a short visit to the Dane County Farmer’s Market, also in Madison. There were two meals with the extended family to celebrate Aunt Sheila and Aunt Jean’s birthday. It was nice catching up with everyone and meeting new baby cousin Adeline.

Evan is 80 months (six years and eight months) old. Evan had a nice summer month. He finished his first summer of Bedford Hills town camp. Evan was outside and in the water (pools, lakes water parks, the ocean, etc.) almost every day for six weeks straight this summer. The family took two trips last month: a long weekend at the New Jersey Shore and a week in southern Wisconsin visiting family. Pictures from that trip will be available in a later post. Overall, Evan is having a nice summer and will have plenty to talk about when his teacher asks what he did on his summer vacation.

Wyatt is 4-1/2 years (54 months) old. Wyatt had another good month. He finished his first summer of Tiny Tots day camp, and he spent time socializing with friends at play dates and birthday parties. He also spent a lot of time in the water at pools, water parks, a lake, and the Atlantic. The family took two trips: a long weekend at the New Jersey Shore and a week in southern Wisconsin visiting family. Pictures from that trip will be available in a later post.

Evan is 79 months (six years and seven months) old. One of the highlights of last month was a short to trip to Nonna and Granddad’s beach house in Sag Harbor on the east end of Long Island. There was a bit of rain, but everyone still had a good time. After that trip, Evan started his first year of Bedford Hills Day Camp. Evan is having a good time so far spending his days outside with his friends. Also last month, Evan saw some fireworks on July 3rd and went to a barbecue with friends.

Wyatt is 53 months (four years and five months) old. In the past month, after everyone was done with school, the whole family took a short trip to Sag Harbor on the east end of Long Island for a few days of fun in the sun (and some light rain) with Nonna and Granddad. After that, Wyatt started his first summer of Tiny Tots day camp at Katonah Elementary School and Little Dolphins swimming lessons at the Katonah pool. Wyatt also went to a couple of birthday parties, saw friends at a barbecue, and enjoyed fireworks on July 3rd.

Evan is 6-1/2 years (78 months) old. Evan has completed kindergarten at Bedford Hills Elementary School and will be moving up to first grade in September. Evan also recently finished his spring sports seasons. His baseball team, La Familia Pizzeria, won the BHKLL AA championship. Congratulations! The Bedford Youth Soccer season also wrapped up with medals for all. Other highlights from last month included a Memorial Day barbecue, the Katonah Firemen’s carnival, the school art show, Field Day at school, a kindergarten carnival, and the first trips to the town pool.

Wyatt is 52 months (four years and four months) old. He has had a lot of endings in the past month. Wyatt finished his second year at Katonah Playcare and then did a two week mini camp there. He completed another year of American Gymnastics, and he finished his first season of tee ball. Wyatt continued to spend a lot of time playing with friends in the area parks. And he made his first trip of the season to the town pool.

Evan is 77 months (six years and five months) old. Evan has been extremely busy. He continues to play baseball three days a week and to play soccer two days a week. He has had a few events at school in the evening, and Evan attended some friends’ birthday parties. Also last month, Evan helped Mom celebrate Mother’s Day and went to a carnival at St. Patrick’s in Bedford Village.

Wyatt is 51 months (four years and three months) old. Wyatt continues to be a very busy boy. Last month he spent a lot of time in parks playing with friends. He attended a couple of events at Evan’s school, and the boys went to a carnival at St. Patrick’s in Bedford Village. Wyatt continues to play tee ball on Saturday mornings as well as watching Evan’s various sports. A little over a month ago, Wyatt and Evan went to New York City and attended the Auto Show with Nonna and Granddad. And a couple of weeks ago, Wyatt helped Mom and Nonna celebrate Mother’s Day.

Evan is 76 months (six years and four months) old. Evan continues to be busy. The big event last month was a visit from Grandma. Evan also went to some birthday parties, helped Mom celebrate her birthday, and had fun at the Bedford Spring egg hunt, as well as at home on Easter. The Spring sports of baseball and soccer started late in the month. Soccer was a little slow to get started because the fields were not ready due to the long winter. Baseball started with a bang, with the opening ceremony followed by a game and a barbecue, and then Evan had another game the next day.
