Evan turned fifteen years old on December 26. Happy Birthday, Evan! He had a good December. He stayed busy with schoolwork and in the gym. He also went to his first high school dance.

Wyatt had a good December. The Bedford Bears 12U hockey team won a couple of games. The Fox Lane High School varsity hockey team started competition and won its first game in nearly two years. Wyatt saw his first action on the ice as a high school hockey player. Heading into the winter holidays, the hockey teams took a break from the ice, and the Fox Lane Middle School bands performed a winter concert at the high school.

Wyatt enjoyed Christmas and the New Year with family and went up to the Catskills for a day of skiing at Belleayre Mountain on his week off from school.

School and sports kept Wyatt busy in November. The Bedford Bears 12U hockey team hit a rough patch against tough competition, going 1-4 for the month. Wyatt passed the Athletic Placement Process (APP) Test, allowing him to try out for the Fox Lane High School varsity hockey team. Those tryouts were in the middle of the month, and Wyatt made the team. His schedule was then filled with almost-daily hockey practices.

Away from the ice, early in the month his EA Baseball 13U team won their division of the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League fall season.

Wyatt also enjoyed a few days of down time over Thanksgiving weekend, spending time with family and friends celebrating the holiday.

Evan continued to work hard at school and on the football field in October. The Fox Lane junior varsity football team played its last four games of the season in October. Evan did not score as many points as he did in September, but he gained a lot of yards rushing and returning punts and kickoffs. Unfortunately, the JV Foxes finished the season with a losing record.

Though Evan’s free time was very limited in October, he was able to enjoy Halloween with friends in Bedford Village. They all had a nice evening.

Evan stayed busy in August. One highlight was a trip to Sag Harbor on Long Island with several of his friends. Everyone had a nice time fishing and playing in and on the water, as well as going to the golf range. Evan returned to Sag Harbor with his family the following week. The second Long Island trip followed a night watching Fox Lane alumnus Henry Davis and the Pittsburgh Pirates play the New York Mets at Citi Field. Immediately following that trip, Evan went to central New Jersey to play a weekend tournament with EA Baseball. Right after that, Evan started practices with the Fox Lane junior varsity football team. For the first practice week and part of the second, the team worked out twice a day. With some of his limited remaining free hours, Evan spent some time with his friends closer to home.
