Wyatt is nine years old. Happy Birthday, Wyatt! February was a month of winter sports. Wyatt’s Bedford Bears hockey team continued play at Chelsea Piers in Connecticut. For his primary birthday gift, Wyatt chose to learn to snowboard over the February school break. After a stop on a snowy day at Stratton Mountain, the family spent a few days at Killington Mountain Resort in Vermont. Wyatt took snowboarding lessons each morning, and rode with his family in the afternoon. On his actual birthday, Wyatt enjoyed a day at home with cake and gifts. Just over a week later, the family took another ski trip, that time to Gore Mountain in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.

Wyatt had a busy January. A big highlight was a ski trip to Vermont around the New Year. Wyatt had a basketball skills clinic, and his Bedford Bears hockey team switched to a different hockey league that offered slightly more difficult competition. The Bears also played in a round-robin “jamboree” tournament one Sunday morning. The Bears won all three games they played that day. Also included in the multi-sport month was a Saturday indoor baseball skills clinic to prepare for the spring baseball season. Wyatt also went to a couple of parties in January, and he spent a few hours in a trampoline park.

Evan is ten years and eleven months old. Evan had a relatively quiet November. There were some days off from school, including the Thanksgiving break. The big academic event was district math testing. A major non-academic event at school was the fifth grade trip to the middle school challenge course.

Out of school, Evan attended another travel baseball tryout, started basketball practices for the fall and winter season, and started the indoor flag football season. Weekly guitar lessons at the School of Rock also continued.
