October of 2020 saw the return of some familiar activities, including a few with a twist. House-to-house trick-or-treating was replaced with “trunk or treat” as well as trick-or-treating in the town park, at tables supllied by and staffed by local businesses. Bedford Hills Katonah Little League played its recreation/in-town league in the fall instead of the spring. Wyatt’s rec team won almost all of its games and hoisted the championship trophy. School continued in a hybrid model, with students attending alternately in-person and online. Hockey practices started, but there were no games. Still, the kids carved Jack O’Lanterns and ate Halloween candy for months afterward, like any other October.
