Wyatt — April 2025

Wyatt had an active April, staying busy in a variety of ways. The Fox Lane High School freshman baseball team had daily practices and a few games, even though the weather was wet. On the ice, the high school spring hockey season continued. Wyatt tried out for and won a spot on the Westchester Express AAA travel hockey team.

Though the weather was cool, Wyatt spent a few days in Sag Harbor on Long Island while school was closed for spring break. The following week, temperatures warmed just in time for the eighth grade class to take a three-day trip to Washington, D.C. The eighth graders saw the Capitol, White House, Arlington Cemetery, Ford’s Theater, and a variety of monuments.

Evan — April 2025

Evan had a busy April. The Fox Lane High School junior varsity baseball team practiced daily and played quite a few games despite unusually rainy weather. Over school spring break, the baseball program took its annual training trip to Florida.

Away from the baseball field, Evan continued to practice driving and attending driver’s education classes. He also helped his mom celebrate her birthday and enjoyed Easter with the family.

Evan — March 2025

Evan stayed active in March. The Fox Lane High School baseball season began. Practices started on St. Patrick’s Day, and the junior varsity played its first game of the season at the end of the month.

Evan also continued his football activities in March, helping out with a Fox Lane youth football clinic on several Sunday mornings.

Wyatt — March 2025

Wyatt had a busy month of March. He spent some time at the ice rink. The high school spring hockey season began, and Fox Lane got an early-season win. Wyatt also worked out with a prospective new travel hockey organization in preparation for tryouts in April.

On the baseball field, the Fox Lane High School baseball season began. Tryouts and practices started in the middle of the month, and Wyatt made it onto the freshman team for the 2025 season.

Wyatt — February 2025

Wyatt celebrated his fourteenth birthday in February. Happy Birthday, Wyatt! The Fox Lane varsity ice hockey team lost in the first round of the playoffs, but it was the team’s most successful season in several years. The Bedford Bears travel hockey team headed to the greater Philadelphia area for a tournament over President’s Day weekend. The Bears came in second place in their division.

The morning after the hockey tournament, Wyatt flew to Wyoming for a few days of skiing at Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee. He spent his birthday in Wyoming and then celebrated even more the day after flying home.

Evan — February 2025

Evan had a good February. He finished his Science Olympiad projects. The Lower Hudson Valley Science Olympiad took place in early February in Armonk. Evan and his Fox Lane teammates competed against dozens of other schools from around the area. The Foxes did very well but were not able to move on to the next round.

Later in the month, over the February break, Evan went on a long ski trip to Wyoming. He skied with friends and family at Jackson Hole and also spent a day at Grand Targhee. Conditions were excellent.

Wyatt — January 2025

Wyatt had another busy month in January. The Bedford Bears travel hockey team and the Fox Lane varsity ice hockey team had full schedules of practices and games. Since it was the last full month of the high school hockey season, the Foxes played their Coach Mac and Senior Night games.

Wyatt also skied a few times in January, with Dad and with the Fox Lane Ski Club.

Wyatt — December 2024

Wyatt had a good December. Until the Christmas school break, both the Bedford Bears travel hockey team and the Fox Lane varsity ice hockey team had full schedules of practices and games. The Foxes got a couple of early season victories.

Shortly before the break, Wyatt played in a concert with the Fox Lane Middle School band.

Wyatt spent time with family and friends around Christmas and throughout the year-ending break. He had a quiet New Year’s Eve, ringing in 2025 at home with family.

Evan — December 2024

Evan turned sixteen years old in December. Happy Birthday, Evan!

After his birthday, Evan took the driver licensing test and got his learner’s permit. He began the process of learning to drive.

Also in December, Evan celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Eve with friends and family. He continued to work out at the gym and began indoor baseball workouts in anticipation of the spring season.
