Evan is nine years and nine months old. The end of August and September have been very busy. After a family trip to Sag Harbor on eastern Long Island for a few days of sun and fun, the boys went to the U.S. Open tennis tournament for the first time. Next was an overnight camping trip at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. Evan helped Dad celebrate his birthday on Labor Day with a quiet day indoors, then school started the next day. There were other fun activities on days off from school, including a trip to Grand Prix NY and an afternoon at an apple orchard. Evan’s summer studies at School of Rock ended in two performances of “Pearl Jam versus Stone Temple Pilots” at The Heights at Brother Vic’s. Videos of all the songs are posted on YouTube. Also in September, Evan started the fall seasons of BHKLL baseball and Pound Ridge flag football.
