Evan had a relatively quiet January. He did not participate in an organized winter sport. He spent time exercising and lifting weights at a health club, attended indoor baseball winter workouts with EA Baseball, and went on a few ski trips with the Fox Lane Ski Club. He also spent some time socializing with friends around town.

Wyatt stayed busy to start the new year. The Bedford Bears 12U hockey team won five games in January, including two in the sectionals tournament. Unfortunately, the Bears were knocked out in the semifinals. The Fox Lane High School varsity hockey team had a very busy game schedule and won two more games. Between the two hockey teams, Wyatt was on the ice five or six days a week, which included a few practices when time allowed.

Also in January, the Fox Lane Middle School seventh graders went to Lincoln Center in Manhattan to attend a New York Philharmonic Young People’s Concert.
