Wyatt is 3 months old. Time flies. He continues to grow like a weed. He weighs more than 15-1/2 pounds and is 24-3/4″ long. His height and weight are in the 90th percentile. He has started to have a busy social life like (and usually with) his older brother. Last month, he went to birthday parties, visited Times Square, and went to New Jersey, among other places.

Evan is now 28 months old. He has been very busy the past month. Highlights included three birthday parties plus Mom’s birthday, a visit from Grandma Peterson from Wisconsin, and Bedford’s Spring Egg Hunt. It is hard to narrow down pictures from that many events, and some good photos may have missed the cut. In the photo gallery are what we hope are the best of the best.

Evan and Wyatt had a nice Easter, Evan’s third and Wyatt’s first. Evan enjoyed several egg hunts and received a few different baskets throughout the week, and Wyatt enjoyed watching the festivities.

Wyatt is two months old. He continues to grow like a weed. At his six week check-up, he weighed 13 pounds, five ounces, four pounds more than when he was born. Wyatt was busy last month going to several birthday parties with Mom and Evan.

Evan is 27 months, or 2-1/4 years, old today. He has spent the last month getting to know his new brother, Wyatt, better. Evan keeps working on his reading skills and enjoys school a lot. He is hoping the weather will warm up soon so that he can spend more time playing outside.

Time flies! Wyatt is already one month old. He sleeps a lot (unfortunately for Mom, not usually when everyone else does), and he is eating well. The family is starting to settle into a little bit of a routine.

Wyatt James Stackle was born at 9:11 am on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York. He weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. Everyone in the family is very excited to have a new family member.

Evan was 26 months old on February 26. It was a very busy month for Evan, including the birth of his new baby brother, Wyatt. Evan got to spend a lot of time with Nonna and Granddad and Auntie Bobbs last month. He also spent quite a bit of time outside, playing in all the snow. He even started to enjoy sledding again, which he enjoyed a lot last winter but had not wanted to do any of this year until shortly before the snow melted. Now he looks forward to things drying up and the weather warming up so he can spend more time outside. School is going well, and Evan’s vocabulary continues to improve.

Evan was 25 months old on January 26. It has been very snowy in the Tristate area, and all but one of the school snow days have fallen on Tuesdays or Fridays. As a result, Evan only attended school three times in the month of January. That hasn’t seemed to affect his learning. Evan has recently learned to recognize (“read”) all the letters of the alphabet. Evan is not as excited about playing in the snow as he was last winter, but he is enjoying his time indoors, playing with his cars and trains and watching Thomas and Super Why on television.

Evan is looking forward to welcoming home his new brother next month, as are Mom and Dad.

Evan celebrated his second birthday four times: cake with Mom’s friends and family on Christmas Eve (see the earlier post for photos), with his class at Katonah Playcare, with his baby group friends at home, and in Wisconsin with his relatives out there. Evan thanks everyone for making his birthday(s) great, especially Miss Joanna, Mom, and Grandma.
