Evan is now 20 months old. He continues to grow physically and intellectually. He now weighs over 28 pounds on the home scale. His vocabulary seems to expand every day. He climbs on everything in sight and often seems fearless.

Since the weather was better than the hot and humid July weather, Evan spent a lot of time outside in the last month. Highlights of the month included trips to the Stepping Stones Museum, a Yankees’ game, the Central Park Zoo, Victorian Gardens in Central Park, numerous playgrounds in Manhattan, and the pool in Bedford Hills.

Evan was 19 months old on July 26. In spite of the hot summer, Evan has begged all his care givers to let him spend as much time outside as possible. He also is trying to expand his vocabulary, and seems to know and use more than 25 words now. Evan can now climb on every piece of furniture at home.

Evan is 18 months old. He is 34″ tall and weighs almost 26 pounds. He has had another very busy month. His travels included trips to the North Salem Memorial Day celebration, Nonna’s cottages in Sag Harbor, and to Abuelo’s house in Tampa, Florida.

Although the progress is still slow, Evan is trying to build up his vocabulary, and seems to try out new words all the time. Mom and Dad hope that some of those new words will start to stick.

Evan, Mom, and Dad went to Tampa, Florida to visit Abuelo and Abuela from June 17-22, 2010. In addition to spending time with his grandparents, Evan also visited Busch Gardens, saw his great, great Aunt Ann, and spent time swimming in the hotel pool. Everyone had a very nice time.

Evan is more than 17 months old. It has been a very eventful month. Evan spent a lot of time visiting friends and family. The week before he turned 17 months old, Evan caught a nasty virus that had him feeling low for nearly a week, but he has recovered.

Evan is 17 months old. His last week has been very eventful. Evan has not been feeling well, and he made several trips to the doctor. Dad is still busy trying to sort out all of the pictures from the last month. The gallery includes a few recent pictures. More will be coming soon.

Evan is now 16 months old. The highlight of the past month was his first Easter egg hunt. Those pictures can be seen in the Easter post further down the page. He spent more time playing in the park and practicing his walking techniques. His new moves include walking sideways and backward, and lately he has tried spinning around. Evan’s favorite word (and play thing) is still “ball,” but he has been trying to learn a few other words.

Since Evan is now walking, he was able to enjoy his first Easter egg hunt this year. The weather was beautiful and unseasonably warm. Evan, Mom, and Dad all had a lot of fun.
